Before 2016, Fansipan peak is always a new challenge for young people. There have been many people conquering and many people have to give up. However, in 2016, the Cable Car project was put into operation to help many people conquer Mount Fansipan. But there are still many you want to conquer by trekking. Whichever way you choose, you still don’t know which way is right for you, need to prepare what is not to admit, not missing. Today, I will share the experience of trekking conquering Fansipan, or say an easy way to understand how to climb to Fansipan.

Which season should you go?

Nature and scenery of Hoang Lien Son range is very beautiful. However, if you are going out, you should choose the dry season (from October to early November, or from March to early April) to avoid storm, rain and slippery cliffs that are difficult to climb. Although you have chosen the dry season, you must watch the weather forecast before you schedule it, even if you have scheduled it on the rainy days (even if you see the weather forecast), it is best to postpone the trip. go or move to a cable car to avoid danger.

How to Trek?

Trekking Phanxipang: There are three common roads, but depending on the season, the organizers allow which way to go.
3 arcs with increasing difficulty:
Tram Ton – Tram Ton: (Lowest difficulty level)
Sin Chai – Tram Ton: (Average difficulty)
Cat Cat – Tram Ton: (Highest difficulty)

Schedule:

Day 1: From Hanoi to Sapa, check in, relax.

Day 2: 10h Climbing Phanxipang – buying sightseeing tickets + sleeping bags – 18h Spot 2200m – Dinner + sleep at the tent here.

Day 3: Breakfast + Exercise 10p climbing to 12 noon to 2800m. After lunch, climb to Phanxipang peak about 3pm. Checkin finished and started down to 2800m base. Sleep there.
The higher the climb, the more humid the air, the wet mud, the stronger the wind, but in return the natural scenery is more beautiful and interesting.

Things to prepare:

Trecking conquered Fansipan should hire Porter. The climbing road has many crossings and it is similar, so it is easy to get lost if you go on your own. I find it very convenient to hire Porter:

  • Cheap cost
  • They are used to climbing so they carry heavier items than me. I just need to carry my personal belongings already, I have a bad idea. Hire them to carry rice, vegetables, meat on the rest points they cook for. Very convenient.
  • The group should go to at least 5 people, should not go to a women’s group to ensure safety.
  • Health and endurance. No sickness or health problems. Before going to the gym, exercise to get used to the body. If not, when you climb, you will have muscle stiffness, blisters, feet.

Costume:

  • Backpack about 4.5 kg. Waterproof is better. There is a layer where the area is contiguous to the back, with a belt attached to the abdomen to minimize the weight of the backpack on the back. Plus easy to move.
  • Shoes: Shoes of a team or shoes that specialize in trekking because of hugging legs and friction, have high grip, limit slippery when moving on slippery roads or stone surfaces. Shoes should also have a neck through the ankles in case of slip, which will reduce the rate of leg twisting.
  • Gloves: Latex rubbing gloves in the palm to increase grip when climbing.
  • Flashlight and whistle: Because going in the trail, overcoming many types of terrain, the health of the members in the delegation so it is obvious to go to the rest stop station. Therefore flashlight is essential. Whistle to prevent misplaced, powerless to call each other, you can blow the whistle to signal.
